HOW WE MEASURE OUR SHEEPSKINS
We measure our rugs from the longest and widest points on the fleece/wool side (not the suede underside), as this is how the rugs are intended to be seen. Genuine sheepskins are each unique - the colors, patterns, shapes, and exact sizes may vary slightly by up to 10% from those described and shown here.
OUR SHEEPSKIN RUGS AT COPIA COVE
Without exception, our sheepskins are authentic, 100% natural whole perfect skins and fleeces - they are NOT ‘manufactured’ or sewn together from pieces or with other synthetic materials. We do not offer faux or artificial sheepskin rugs.
SHEEPSKINS SOURCING AND FARMING
Our farm-grown sheepskin rugs are made from sheep born, bred and farmed here at Copia Cove in Montana... in natural outdoor grazing environments. We do not breed sheep for the sole purpose of making of sheepskin rugs.
Our Icelandic sheepskins are a by-product of the USA farming industry (that also produces wool, lamb, lanolin, horn buttons and other products). Copia Cove prides itself on having some of the highest standards of animal welfare in the world.
