HOW WE MEASURE OUR SHEEPSKINS
We measure our rugs from the longest and widest points on the fleece/wool side (not the suede underside), as this is how the rugs are intended to be seen. Genuine sheepskins are each unique - the colors, patterns, shapes, and exact sizes may vary slightly by up to 10% from those described and shown here.
OUR SHEEPSKIN RUGS AT COPIA COVE
Without exception, our sheepskins are authentic, 100% natural whole perfect skins and fleeces - they are NOT ‘manufactured’ or sewn together from pieces or with other synthetic materials. We do not offer faux or artificial sheepskin rugs.
SHEEPSKINS SOURCING AND FARMING
Our sheepskin rugs are made from sheep born, bred and farmed in Iceland in natural outdoor grazing environments. We do not import sheep for the making of sheepskin rugs. Our Icelandic sheepskins are a by-product of the farming industry (that also produces wool, lamb, lanolin, horn buttons and other products) - an industry which has some of the highest standards of animal welfare in the world.
